Come and See
This years 'Come and See', takes place on the weekend of 5th & 6th October at Christ the King High School, Stamford Road Southport PR8 4EX. The main speakers are Daniel O'Leary, Edwina Gateley with Steve Atherton, Fiona Castle, Pat Collins & Eileen Convey and music and prayer led by Jo Boyce and friends. Conference fee: £40 each Groups of 10 or more: £30 each Unemployed: £30 each 16 - 18's: £20 each One day only: £25 each available from the Irenaeus office 32 Great Georges Road Liverpool L22 1RD. Please include a SAE.
Fish and Chip Babies
I counted how many of the jumpers you have donated. The figure is a magnificent 140. Thank you all so much for your support. The closing date is August to get them into Capes’ in South Road, Waterloo. If you haven’t tried knitting one, why not try, and lets see if we can make the 200 mark before we send them away.
Zealator’s Masses
Together with family and friends you are invited to Mass and refreshments as a thank you for all your support of the Mill Hill Red Box appeal on Sunday 23 June at Herbert House, 41 Victoria Road Freshfield (a very short walk from Freshfield Station.)The celebration begins at 2.00pm and has been extended to include Exposition, Confession, Benediction and talks on mission spirituality and how your Red Box donations support APF Mill Hills Work.
